Exercise 5. Translate the sentence, paying special attention to the use of the Complex Object.

 

1. I believe it to be perfectly all right to tell a lie if it is a matter of life and death. 2. Nobody said anything, we just watched him put it away in his case. 3. Exercise 6. Fill in the blanks with the particle “to” where necessary.

Exercise 8. Combine the sentences or change them using the Complex Object.

Exercise 9. Translate into English.
