Глагол to sayзаменяется, в зависимости от смысла высказывания, глаголами to order, to tell. Например:

She said to him, ‘’Come at 6 o’clock’’(Она сказала ему: «Приходите в шесть часов»).– She told him to come at 6 o’clock(Она велела ему придти в шесть часов).

(The Infinitive)

She likes to dance. -

а) после модальных и вспомогательных глаголов: can, could, may, might, must, shall, should, will, would, do, did, need:She can dance.

б) после глаголов to make(в значении заставлять), to let, to see, to hear, to notice, to watch, to feel: He made me go there. Если эти глаголы употреблены в страдательном залоге то после них используется частица to:He was made to do it.

в) после сочетаний would rather, would sooner, had better: You had better go there at once.
